Makeupstorming: Teal Duochrome Smokey Eye

11 Jun

Was just screwing around with Makeup Geek’s Insomnia pigment when I discovered a strange and beautiful combination.

I just remembered I promised to start doing pictorials!! Woops. Next time, next time.

What do you think? I love the combination of Fringe and Insomnia because the blue duochrome in Insomnia blends into the teal of Fringe quite nicely. Pretty…O.Oinsomnia collage

The highlight in the inner corner is Sugarpill’s Lumi over a black base, no blue there. Colors that change color are my favorite things ♥

Would you wear this craziness in public? I just wiped it off and went to bed, haha 🙂

Products used:

♦ NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Black Bean

♦ Makeup Geek Insomnia Pigment

♦ Urban Decay Electric Palette: Fringe

♦ Sugarpill Lumi Pigment

♦ Physicians Formula Eye Booster

♦ Rimmel Waterproof Kohl Kajal in Black

♦ Covergirl Lash Blast Mascara

And because I just don’t feel complete unless I blog every day, I’m going to give it another shot! *scattered applause* I’m almost out of space, I might actually have to start paying for these shenanigans to continue 😀

I’d wear it outside, if I knew it wouldn’t melt off my eyes in two hours! I love how the blue fades so smoothly into the brown 🙂 And seriously – I need a tutorial for how you do your eyeliner. I will pay you in hugs and chocolate 😀

Thank you! I will do one soon, I promise! I feel like the whole process is just trial and error, and they’re very rarely even 🙂

Looks lovely! Can I ask how you get such good pics of your eye? I find mine so hard to photograph! X

Thank you! I think most of it is my camera, but the other part of it is definitely practice. If you look at my pictures from even a few months ago, they sucked considerably worse than today’s 🙂 I just play around with different angles and take about 29382938 pictures before picking the 5 that I like the most..not sure if that helps haha 🙂

Think inside the box!
