Supernatural Inspired Makeup

30 Aug

I’m the weird kind of fan that gets excited at the prospect of doing makeup inspired by a TV show 😀

Of course I had to break out my leather jacket for this look, purely for authenticity.

My replica of Dean Winchester’s amulet. I wear this everywhere. The public has yet to recognize it.

Little preface: these were near darn impossible to draw, so please don’t judge my sloppy lines. They’re meant to look hand-drawn anyway!

The top figure is a Tibetan Spirit Sigil, which focuses thoughts to create a Tulpa, a magical being born of concentrated thought. The symbol is shown in an episode in the 1st season. The symbol below it is a basic Devil’s Trap, which traps demons. It was very difficult to draw all the squiggly lines, so it looks like scribbles. Points for effort? The last symbol is a basic pentagram, which just looked cool. The whole thing ended up looking a bit steampunk-y, huh?

Of course my symbols are mirrored, because I forgot to turn them around. Hopefully that means I won’t accidentally summon anything 🙂

I won’t bother with a tutorial this time since I doubt any of you will recreate this, unless you’d like one. If you’d like to see the products used for the eyelid, that look is at the end of last week’s post.

It was a lot of fun to challenge myself with the intricate lines…my liquid eyeliner got quite a workout. How’d I do?

Bye my (hopefully) fellow SPN fans, see you all again October 8th!

Cheers ♥

I got mine on Amazon, I couldn’t find the exact seller but typing in “supernatural dean amulet” should yield similar results. Hope you find one!

Thank you! I’m not sure “cool” is quite the right word…”incredibly dorky” is probably closer to the truth 🙂

Trust me (I’m not the Doctor) – it’s cool.
