Late Night Conversations

Late night conversations work wonders to clear my head. Despite the assurance of puffy eyes and a voice like a rusty door hinge the next morning, they are a natural and amazing form of therapy.

I find that I become really honest around 2:00 a.m. All of my pent-up emotions and anxieties just come pouring out into the arms of the caring friend on the other end of the phone line. After I’ve finished spilling my plans for high school, college, and the entirety of my existence upon this earth, I can hang up with the knowledge that someone somewhere understands, just ten digits and a you-must-first-dial-a-one away.
